Park City Mountain Resort

Park City, Utah’s namesake resort sets out to be all things to all people and delivers just that. Diverse terrain? Check. Renowned family programs? Got it. Abundant lodging options? Sure thing. Plenty of off-slope activities? Done. A rollicking nightlife? If you dare. And then there’s the snow: more than 30 feet of the stuff falls on the Resort every year. Being called Park City Mountain Resort (PCMR) is more than just about our name. It’s about blurring the lines between a unique town and stunning mountain for the best winter vacation you’ve ever had.

PCMR spans 3,300 acres of the Wasatch Mountains, where 114 runs spread over eight mountain peaks and nine bowls. Mountain playground is the best way to describe the terrain here which includes groomed Signature Runs™, the Eagle Superpipe, award-winning terrain parks, bumps, powder, tree-filled glades and wide, gentle beginner slopes.

Families are top priority at PCMR where resources like snowmamas.com help streamline your visit before you get here, and programs like our Signature 5 and Signature 3 ski and snowboard lessons make the most of your time after you arrive. That the PCMR was named the most accessible mountain resort in North America by the readers of SKI magazine has to do not only with the Resort’s proximity to the airport—it’s just a 40-minute drive from the Salt Lake International Airport to the slopes—but that downtown Park City is literally a stone’s throw away as well. Rather than getting in the car at the end of the ski day, here you can simply walk or take the free city-wide bus to access hundreds of restaurants, galleries, shops, bars and museums. In the summer, PCMR operates Alpine Slides, the Alpine Coaster, the ZipRider, children’s rides, the Legacy Launcher, miniature golf, lift-served mountain biking and hiking and horseback riding. It’s no wonder PCMR is consistently ranked a top-five resort by the readers of SKI and Transworld Snowboarding magazines.
